The team at Rich’s Cider in Watchfield are excited to announce the arrival of their new Bucher HP 3000, an apple pressing machine that has travelled all the way to Somerset from North Macedonia. The new press was put into position on Friday the 8th of September and is now being prepared to harvest the first apples of the season.
George Scott (Master cidermaker and third generation of the Rich’s family) said The installation of the Bucher HP 3000 represents a significant milestone for our business, enabling us to process larger apple quantities at an accelerated rate compared to our previous presses. The team and I are excited to get this season underway and start pressing apples with our new pressing system.
